Authorized Dealer Sales Warranty Policy - Effective 1/1/2012
We offer a one year replacement warranty on all of our pieces,
excluding CDI boxes. For all sales through authorized dealers (including
web sales), the following procedure must be followed in order for
us to honor any warranties:
- The end user (your customer) must be in touch with the dealer/outfit (this is
you, our dealer) from whom the purchase was made.
- The dealer/outfit
(this is you, our dealer) would then contact Rick's Motorsport Electrics
for a return authorization number.
- All warranty shipments MUST have
a return number before being processed.
- Return authorization numbers
expire after 60 days.
- Rick's Motorsport Electrics MUST receive a proof of purchase from one of
our distributors before the warranty is processed. If the dealer
purchased directly from Rick's Motorsport Electrics, we can find
that information in our records.
- Once we receive the part and proof
of purchase, we will test the part. If the part is defective, we
will ship out a replacement piece at no charge. If the part tests
good, we will ship it back as is.
Rick's Motorsport Electrics will replace parts that fail due to manufacturer
error excluding CDI boxes. However, we cannot be responsible for
any other damage or labor reimbursements.
- The dealer/outfit is responsible
for all return shipping and insurance charges.
There is no warranty for gear tooth failure on starter motors.
Warranty will be void if failure results from misuse of product or damage
caused by any other improper action.
- There is no warranty/return
for misdiagnosis or customer error.
